When the Funky Femmes were told of their cycle route this morning there were not so many smiles …. cycling out of Phnom Penh was somewhat daunting to most.
No, actually, the response received was "are you crazy?!" We travelled like and along side the locals – everyone on high alert, but so much fun! 2 hours later we arrived at Udong. A beautiful town with the most amazing pagoda on a hill. the views over the plains as far as the eye could see were stunning. Sitting on the bus with that westerly sun streaming through the window was like taking a sleeping tablet in a sauna! Our arrival into Battambang was welcomed to say the least, 3 showers later for all and we’re calling it a day. Another early start again tomorrow and we need our beauty sleep. Good Night.
